How the Kids dont se me bline
Several years ago, I was able to babysit my youngest grandson for four days. He was four years old. He came equipped with Movies, books and his brothers game boy. We watched movies, played in the yard, played with Tasha, ate “Babay Back Ribs”.
Then we played with the game boy. He was good, so for his turn we sat on the couch, with one of the movies on and “chilled’. Then he would hand it to me and say “your turn.” Well I got up and headed to my office. To see the little screen I had to put on my magnifing glasses, and turn on the lighted magnifier. Well, he didn’t like thes. So I had to explain, “I can’t see the screen”. “Its right her”, pointing to it. “I know, but I can’t see it”. The famous four year old question”WHY”. “My eyes are..sick”. “WHY”. “My eyes are not good. I can’t see the little screen unless I use this special light.” “WHY” This special light makes things bigger”. “Let me try”. So the next twenty minutes we spent making things BIG,
Then it was bed time and “Gramma read me a story”. So we sat on the bed, and opened one of his books and I began to make thngs up. “Gramma, thats not how this story goes.” “Remember, I cant see the letters in the words, So while your here, you get to hear a whole different story from the same book.” And yes, Tasha slept with him.
By the end of the fourth day, he would grab my hand and say “go to the light”
